Hey Everyone, long time no see!

Blayre and I have recently gotten back from two weddings. One that we filmed in beautiful Tuscany, Italy and the second one we attended for one of my lovely friends Chelsea. Both wedding were so beautiful in their own ways, we should be posting the Italy wedding shortly!

For now, I wanted to share with you a really cute wedding idea I came across earlier this evening. Caitlin Creer who has a fabulous blog, and design business, posted this clever "table setting/table cloth", that she used at a wedding she decorated. I think this is such a fantastic idea.

I like this idea because it would be fun for the adults- to sign off best wishes to the happy couple, as well as children(who could be kept busy for a while) And look and the beautiful colors and the charming center piece. Who knows perhaps something really unique and beautiful could come of it and could be framed in your home? Many possibilities!

Trend Alert: In case you haven't noticed a major wedding trend these days is of course the sweet table. Amy Atlas is renowed for her dessert tables, where she busts out a fabulous color pallette and stylishly loads up the table with decadent deserts, and nostalgic candies.

Now if you cannot affort the likes of Amy Atlas, head over to your dollarama, hit up your local junk store, pick up some retro-fab linens(Or stick with a white table cloth), borrow some of your grandmas cake platters, pick up some pretty milk glass vases & pair them with your favorite flowers, go to a bake shop or somewehre fabulous in your area that does small cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, load up on Jelly Bellys(One color), and beautiful candy- and stick to the color theme, And most importantly to save money and be resourceful you MUST-THINK OUT SIDE OF THE BOX.......Voila- sweet table.

Okay visualize a barn. I want you to think out of the box for a moment and instead of pigs, cows, and chickens inhabiting of it I want you to think of wait for it, wait for it..... A gorgeous New England style, lux wedding!!!

What do you think?? Let me set the scene for you, Neil Young is playing, vintage fair food like candy apples, and pork sliders are served, along side newspaper wrapped homemade fries, washed down with chilled cider!! Fairy light and banners are strung above you and the vaulted ceiling of the barn becomes a summer sky. Crisp white linens, and flowers surround you. Maybe a lasoo or two,floating around!(Okay, maybe not that part)

Have I convinced you?? If so hand over the pitch fork to your hubby and get him working- we need to clear this barn of all the hay!!

For a more bohemian look, go for a simpler palette of light neutrals in a pastel, or try adorning everyone in cream like Kate did & get your guy to wear a pale blue- Retro Chic!!

Go a step further and put flowers in your hair.

So a photographer thought of this ingenius idea of shooting the bride and groom pre-wedding, yet still kept the two lovebirds from seeing eachother! Isn't that brilliant? We thought so.... So bad luck be gone, and super sweet photos- Gives us tingles of excitement just thinking about it!!
